this card would work great in a token deck. Think once a bunch your tokens are sent to the graveyard you could send him out to finish the job. A combo of him and Phyrexian Dreadnought could wipe someone out. First you would get something like symbolic wryn out sac it and five of its seven tokens play dreadnought and Lhurgoyf and thats a 12/12 trample, a *6/*7, and two 1/1 tokens in two turns for 13 mana(Eight the first turn and five the second).

This Card, IMO, Is one of the most devistating cards that could ever possibly
be played during late in the game. Now lets say that you are playing multiple
Player games on up to...lets say 7 people now everyone has at least 3 creatures
In the graveyard and at least two people have collossule sized creatures of 10-13
Now IF you play a creature with the power equal to all of that.....and depending
on what color deck you got it could easily have flaying, haste, vilgilance,or even
fear and if you have an artifact green deck you could make it unblockable by all
creatures.

This is one of the best cards in ice age. I use an all green deck and this card helps in so many ways.

I won a tournament back in the day ('96) based upon Lhurgoyph with Jockulhaups, elves, and Orcish Lumberjacks - a good deck for when I was breaking out of scrubhood. There are other creatures that are obviously better, but this card is a sentimental favorite of mine.

this card is ok, here is a alright combo: Lhurgoyf, Goblin recruiter, and hermit druid. This would be a goblin deck with a dash of flavor. Recruit all goblins to top of deck then use hermits ability to put them all in graveyard now you have a monster. use an equipment to give it haste and trample for the win. pretty sure with red and green this is a 3rd turn win(many mana excellerance in green and with goblins).

I guess he's alright in a doran edh junk stack. mortivore is still better though.

and token do go hit the graveyard for the purpose of triggered effects but they do not remain there, so the goyfs, Lord of extinct, etc don't get anything from them.

Tokens don't "go to the graveyard".
Alright card. The times have passed it by horribly. There are so much better green, 4 cc creatures out there that are better in every situation.
3 stars since it's a bit of a legend.
