This card's nice, but it's not universally useful like some people seem to think. How often does it really happen that you need to have a max hand size increase except when ur gettin mana screwed?

This card works best with a blue deck, as a lot of blue effects allow you to draw extra cards. It takes 0 to cast, so it'll never impede your ability to do other things during your turn. Perhaps you could combine it with Ivory Tower, another artifact from a long time ago that allows you to gain life equal to the cards in your hand greater than 4.

A good card, a definite in certain decks, though useless in others. I'd like to give it 5 but it's only useful in certain cases so only a 4

It got replaced by reliquary tower.....
still applicable if you cannot afford the colorless mana

It's okay, but first of all it dies to Goblin Tinkerer which sucks :D Also, I think most of the reason that this card is so popular is becuase it costs 0...but that's not really a big deal, becuase you're not gonna be needing it early on, and plus, okay, you can have your whole deck in your hand and that's cool...but it;s not worth an actual slot in a deck unless you have no idea what to put in your deck and you're like, "Hey, I'll put in a Spellbook!"

This is the ultimate I-don't-know-how-to-make-a-deck card. It has extremely limited usefulness. There are 2 reasons to want more than 7 cards in your hand; one is other cards that refer to the number of cards in your hand and the other is playing with a poorly built deck (and in this case having 8+ cards in your hand is not going to help).
