One of the better hand disruption cards in type two, its a good early drop in a discard deck and you don't have to worry about Dodecapod like you do with such cards as Mind Rot, Funeral Charm, and Stupor. Good when paired with The Rack or Megrim.

blackmail is a excellent card, if u have that, animate dead and a big creature u just use it on yourself and then u got a huge creature for 3 mana its great

I never cast this particularl yearly--otherwise I can''t get the goodies. Though I like how this can get lands unlike ''Duress'', ''Thoughseize'', or ''Inquisition of Kozilek''. *Staple in my B/R Land Destroy deck
