Natural Affinity

love this card in so many ways. The combos I have used.. aggravated assault and this would be an infinite mana combo for cards like insurrection. THis with sway of illusion and wash out.. this and crypt rats and scythe of the wreched also produces a infinite mana loop .. 3 evil combos and im sure there are dozens more.

This is one of my favorite green cards in standard right now, next to Sakura-Tribe Elder of course. If well timed, it can lead to one @#$* of a beating to your opponent. It also helps with cards like Scion of the Wild or mass removal spells like Wrath of God or Plague Boiler. As of the release of Guildpact, it is also a really nasty card to see played if you have an Earth Surge in play. Lastly, to the person above that gave it one star, you seem to be missing the fact that ALL lands become 2/2's. So that "Wrath" you were talking about would force your opponent AND you to "scoop".

what about this with echoing decay ?

personally, i don't like permanently turning my lands into creatures. you never know,and all sorts of nasty things might happen. i do play this in a nuisance, land based 1.5 deck. the win percentage is barely over 50% (although i'm working on that) and i just love playing this card when nothing can be done. especially with 'bosejiu, who shelters all' to make sure it goes through.
