This card is madness. Best counterspell printed since Force of Will. If you play Legacy, you need mental mistep. Best of all this thing works in all colored decks. Force of Will only works with blue cards in hand and Daze only works with islands but this thing can be added in a mono red burn deck. Theres plenty of 1 mana spells going off in Legacy too. Every deck needs a playset now.

pretty cool. i prefer spell snare for legacy instead though. stops goyfs. its funny because i pulled three foil mental missteps and theyre 40$ right now, which is a rip. Its ok, but overrated. Spell pierce and, as i mentioned earlier, spell snare are better.
