This is one of the best cards ever produced for a tribal deck. Take note of it's potential in a SLIVER deck! I will admit that slivers are slightly better than Elves; moreover, the main objective is to get the damage to go through to your enemy. This addition to your tribal deck will seal the deal, when it equates to a win for you!

Try playing it with a deck built around Rogues. It's thematically appropriate and really helpful with playing Prowl costs.

It is good if your fitting a red, white, blue and green decks youll have much more of an anvanage but if your fitting a artifact deck or blak deak it will be no use to you

i use some in my zombie deck . but i also use zombie master and blanket of night in case they use artifact decks or another black deck. that gives you unblockable regenerating zombies. so altogether this is not a bad card. it just needs the right deck. i use it in a zombie beatdown deck, with crap like no mercy to make you pay for attacking me while i beat the crap out of you with my unblockable zombies. (hint: use it on lords while you have the unblockable zombies so zombie master is harder to block and can swing for a couple extra points.)

This is a very good card. Some of the most powerful decks come from the Onslaught block and are tribal decks. The whole point of Cover of Darkness is to make tribal decks evern stronger.
THE WHOLE POINT IS TO BE CREATURE SPECIFIC.

Before Onsluaght came out I built a Dragon Masters Deck (I call it Riens of Fire)it has 25 dragons and can hit for 185 points of damage.I use Sneak Attack to bring them in for 1 red mana, but comdined with Mirari's Wake and Pulse of Llanowar, I can empty out all the dragons in my hand. With Cover of Darkness in play, not only are they flying, but now they can't be blocked any way. It's better then Bedlam becuase I can still block. This means you're dead!!!!

Who the hell is stupid enought to make a dragon deck? Dragons are kool and everything, but c'mon, 25? How long does it take you to get out your first creature, turn 4? Anyways, this is an alright card, but in general its too specific on types or colors to be very powerful. Not good, but not bad.
