False Cure

First glance this card isn't that useful but forget those four or five card combos, combine it with "Beacon of Immortality" and instant win.

Also TECH vs Tendrils of Agony. Usually ends up as a draw at worst.

One of those 'junk rares' that ticks you off when you bust it open. But a first turn win is a first turn win. Bayou, dark ritual, false cure and four skyshroud cutter in an opening hand = gg. Substitute some reverent silence and/or invigorate to make a quick win more likely to draw. Second turn in extended with blood pet or probably a half a dozen other methods. Watch as permission lets the FC resolve and tries to counter the life gain, then cry when they find the gain is part of the cutter's casting cost. Absolutely broken if you play two during the same turn. Even healing salve = 9 loss of life for 5. Life Burst anyone? And of course Beacon of Immortality. Never doubt WotC when they dub a card rare.

False Cure is a great card. Put it on a Cunning wish, toolbox sideboard. and bust it out when your opponent play their last Life Burst, they'll be feeling that one.

Try using this card with a Laqutas Champian and unsummon, first your oppenent loses 6 life, then when you send it back to your hand, your oppenet loses 12!

I had this busted out on me in a multi-player where I sent my Kokusho to the graveyard as a blocker, and lost like 60 life in one turn. >_<
