This card is great with any big creature green deck. It may not have trample, but it is a great card at 9/9 with Morph for 8 mana. Just use cards that give you fast mana and this is a great, easy to use card but before you get this, look at Krosan Colossus, the largest creature in Magic the Gathering.

i added a colossus to my green deck and HOLY COW!!! it kicked some serious butt. its expensive so use cards like fyndhorn elder to generate some extra mana to play it sooner

This card is pretty awesome it can morph and it is a 9/9 creature and it cost about average for mana. 9/9 creatures usally cost about that.

Ugghh. Everyone who posts on here for the big creatures either give them 5 stars for being big, or 1 star for lacking trample. In truth, the card isn't bad, but it isn't great either. The morph can make for a nasty little surprise, and it makes a fine wall, to an extent. As for trample . . . I'm thinking Predator's Strike will fix that real quick. Only briefly of course, but 12 trampling damage quite a bit. As for 9 mana . . . It's green. One of green's big things is mana accel. So start acceling. You really want to move fast, throw in Rofellos. Yeah, this baby comes out turn 2-3, morphs turn 3-4 with Rofellos out there. Or a little later with regular accel.

As a card, it's not good.

However in a black and green deck running self discards and animate dead, you can have this guy with a trample enchantment by turn three very easily.

8/9 trample on turn three is good.

It's just very limited usage and at that point I'd use hypnox for a 7/8 flyer... It's just better. :P

Without trample? It deserves 2 stars.
Krosan colossus+armadillo cloak? It deserves 8 stars.
8+2=10.
10/2=5 Stars.
I love this card but it dont deserves 5 stars.
