i dont have this card but if you use it on a stuffy doll that is under your control, you will deal a redicuos amount of uncounterable damage to your opponent

You can suspend this baby and shunt it at your opponent. Also, yes. the Stuffy Doll combo is deadly =P

do I really need to say why I chose 5 stars? 13 damage to a creature for 5 mana is good on its own, but the suspend ability is even nicer. Theres a painfully obvious combo with this card, stuffy doll anyone?

true it needs to be comboed and the cost for the combo doesnt earn this a 5. But the dmg to cost ratio for the suspend is monsterous.

lol, you cant shunt (or wild richochet, swerve, imp's mischeif etc.) this to a player's face. The spell can only target creatures, shunting to a player would give the spell an illegal target. Only an effect like Stuffy Doll or Spitemare will send it to someone's face.

Tommy from cleveland you are wrong sir. You can counter the spell on the turn its suspend is up. But still works very well with stuffy doll.

An okay card. It does 13 damage to a creature, which is pretty much garunteed to kill something so long as it doesn't have regeneration, indestructibility (why would you ever target it anyway), or protection from Red. The problem is that there are other cards that could kill your opponent's monsters easier, such as Spitting Earth for those who play mono red, or one of the burn cards such as Blaze or Disintegration, which could have a chance of damaging your opponent instead if you don't care about his creatures.

The card by itself is pretty mediocre, but, as others pointed out, there are some pretty nasty combos with it. I think my favorite is Repercussion. " Whenever a source deals damage to a creature, Repercussion deals that much damage to that creature's controller." I can only bring myself to give Shivan Meteor 2 stars, but there are combos with it that deserve 3 or 4.
