torchling is difficult to gauge. it requires more mana than morphling to really get going and unlike morph which is a win if you can resolve it torchling seems more like creature kill. retargeting spells is nice but not as awsome as it first seems, as it requires your opponent to screw up first. the most impressive ability to me (and I know that this will not be every ones opinion) is the ability to get other creatures to block it. it allowed me to kill mulitple 2/2's or 2/1's each turn and than quickly switch to a 0/6 to absorb the damage. morphling this ain't but it isn't desined to be and what it does it does very well.
