I love using this card with Argothian Wurm or Shivan Wumpus in my Land Destruction deck. It's beautiful.

This is one of the best cards in the game IMO. You get a 7/7 that tramples for a mere 5 mana, and the "drawback" of returning a creature to your hand is actually in a plus in my G/R deck with plenty of kickers and come into play abilities.

7/7 trampler for only 5??? It is UNREAL! it has two minimal drawbacks, because in any red/green deck there will be both mana sources. Gating is the more potent one but its not that big of a deal, and in some cases in can even be a good thing (blastoderm etc). Fantastic, short list material for creatures!

One of the only creatures to come up against creatures such as spiritmonger. must have in a red-green deck. best red-green card ever!!!! gotta love him.....

Among the top ten big creatures in the history of the game and a mandatory addition to any aggressive green/red deck . . . Combine the Wurm with creatures that have great come-into-play abilities (e.g., the Flame Tongue Kavu), and you will have one mean deck design.

A shivan wurm is a must have for any red green deck. I have 3 of them in my red green deck and im working on getting my 4th one. Get one of these babies out slap on a giant growth and youll have 10 damage right there.

Pretty good especially if you have elves or goblins

A no brainer! A must have for most any red-green deck.

Use it when your Blastoderm is about to fade and you get your Blastoderm back!

Hmmm. A 7/7 trampler for 5 mana. Oh man. Darn. I guess my Llannower Elves have to come back to my hand.

I like it. Its drawback can be put to good use. Think flametongue kavu. Cheap beater in colors that have mana accel. I might try it.

for the most part, in my opinion, beatsticks that are just that and nothing else, are pretty much dead in the metagame. at least in 1.5 with the two major exceptions of either everything being castable for two mana or under(red/green) or brown decks(but even here, with more and more creature versatility and secondary abilities). now i'm not sure i know what i'm talking about(and who is?) but i AM pretty sure that a 7/7 for five with the drawback(?!?!) of bouncing a creature AND that has TRAMPLE is just a touch much! they say there's an exception to every rule, and with this monster, i believe you're looking at it.......................

4.5 stars. The gating is kind of annoying, but the thought of gating away a mana elf for this baby makes me drool. Especially potent in your Old School Fires deck where it gates an almost dead Blasty or Saproling.

For only 5 mana you get a 7/7 trample gater. THATS JUST PLAIN GOOD!
