5 words... DRAGON ARCH or ELVISH PIPER. With an arch, a total of seven mana gets you this fatty, and it only gets better with the piper. 4 for the piper and one for her ability (so a total of 5 mana) gets you a 9/14 trampler?! Where do I sign up for that deal.
Oh, and by the way, are you having trouble getting him or the piper in your hand? You can maintain your color scheme (G and W), and pull him or her out at will with and Eladamri's call.
In other words, in today's world of magic, this card is completely playable and downright frightening.

now to put this card into play that would be unwise but just think, turn one you have one of these, a mountain, a spark elemental, and a blazing shoal...bam 18 damage on turn 1!

You can't go wrong with that...I can get him out by turn 5...if not turn 6. No one can stand the wrath of my wurms! Bwahahahahaha! lol

This card, in my opinion goes extremely well with decks that are based on getting lots of creatures inplay.

A fairly decent card, and i infact own an awesome wurm deck (i infact LOVE wurms), but no, this card is not perfect for it. This card is only good for a Selesnya and token decks, due to its convoke ability. But even with its convoke its still a little pricey, in which by the time you get into your hand and ready to play you would have to tap half of your creatures to get him for free, even with tokens, that leaves you at a big risk to get hit with one of your opponents big creatures, which he or she will undoubtly will have by the time you get htis guy out. Plus even if you did have a wurm deck then it would ahve to be ALL GREEN. A multicolor doesnt go good in a pure green deck, unless you have a creature like Joiner Adept or another in play. This card is awesome, but its cost and the fact that it would only get a good pull off in very limited types of decks makes it not such a great card to use.

Think this guy's casting cost is too high? Then don't pay it! If you are actually paying the casting cost of this thing you are going about it all wrong. With all of the ways to get creatures in play without paying the casting cost, it is no problem to get it out within the first few turns.

This can be nasty when it comes out. 9/14 is so hard to destroy... Wait, is that a putrefy you just drew? Whoops... This would be much better if you use it with black.

Now now, you people aren't planning very well if you think he's not playable. Remember, there are other ways to play a creature than it's casting cost. There are various cards that let you put a card into play. Call of the Wild, Elvish Piper (an almsot must for all fatty green decks, unless you have intense mana producers), Tooth and Nail...And I have a token deck that is pure Ravnica cards, and it can put this bad boy out on turn eight if all goes well. I'm not running it in the deck, but I could. For a deck that lacks rares, that's impressive, no?

Theres better cards for 15 mana...Even with convoke hes gonna come out late and leave you WIDE open for mass swarm-age...For the cost you'll be better of with a Juagn and a Yosei and even they wont cost that much + they fly and have effects when they die...
