I have won sooo many games in my friends "Cube" draft because of a turn 1 Black Vise it's not even funny. If your opponent only has land drops for the first few turns it's already over~

This card works great in a Stasis deck, it taps your opponents mana so they cant cast spells, and you watch him/her die slowly. One of the best cards in Magic, that's why it is banned on all the formats.

Its called forced card drawing. See any card that makes player draw cards. Stroke of genius can kill on damage with one of these in play, but why not use prosperity.

great card- it can bite brutally for just 1 mana... nice combination with The Rack, its pretty frustrating for the opponent (:

I completely agree with Nick. I have used that strategy in a tournament last year. In fact it helped me win it against a kid named Cody. HE was good but not good enough. At the end I collected the prize money and left. They didnt even know my name.

This is an excellent card in my burn deck! Pull out a few arc lightnings or a shock while you have this card out and the damage is great!

This is a great card. It is one of my personal favorites. I find it especially useful in a burn deck for some reason even though it would work just as well in any other type of deck. It will often cause you opponent to use all the cards that they can in order to prevent the damage. Even when they are able to get rid of all but four cards, it limits the possibilities that they have and gives you an advantage. If they are unable to use their cards then you could win the game in a few turns.

An excellent choice, regardless of the deck it's placed in. Vise decks are also trouble with Ancestral Recall, Brain Geyser and Properity to boot.

I don't know how this works in burn decks because I dont play burn decks, burn decks are cheap and a sad way of winning games. Play this in prosperity, draw and go or prison decks to better its effects

Use with Forced Fruition to guarantee they have a full hand when ever they play a spell. Use that with Underworld Dreams and when they have to discard get tokens with Nath of the Gilt-Leaf. And be prepared for everyone to try to kill you

Drop it on turn 1, and they take 3. Try it with Forced Fruition from Lorwyn, thought letting your opponent get too many cards will give them more answers.

Good card to use with howling mine, keep your opponents hand number up and the more damage he/she will take.
