really good, but takes forever to level up to 5+, maybe too long for a quick mana deck...

Good card but when you think about it, yes it makes elf decks even better and yeah it's o.k. ramp. In a fast ramp though, birds and Llanowars beat it hands down. You wont' be second turn harrow/cultivate/etc... or khalni heart with a token second turn with this guy. Plus you have to waste mana to level it. Not knocking it too much because it is still a good card.
