Since the M10 rules change and the Zendikar fetch/manlands, this card has become ridiculously broken. Omnath for the WIN!

Can be tough to use, but given the right conditions when you finally flip it--it gets insane. I use as Commander in a mono{G} ramp deck and use things like Life from the Loam, Journeyer''s Kite and such to fill-up my hand with land easily. Then hardcast Eldrazi, Woodfall Primus, etc. as soon as turn 5-6 fairly consistently.Trade Routes could also be fun with this.

Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant is a very conditional card. It isn't easy to have seven land cards in your hand. That being said, Sasaya's Essence is one of the more potent cards in EDH. Consider people who run Omnath, Locus of Mana as their general, or Azusa, Lost but Seeking and what this card, once flipped, can do for them. I'll tell you what it can do for them: win. Every time.

look it may be hard but scape and a groundskeeper and boom all the mana you'll need for spells like stream of life or orochi hactery play it with doubling season or ant queen and its swarm city just make sure coat of arms is out dont want the little critters to die

Oh no....this card is completely out of control!! Seriously unless your running a All land/Fastbond with some Blazes or other X cards this card is completely usless, and you'll have more mana than you'll know what to do with...or would want.

Sasaya is really only good if you have Upwelling and/or a bunch of X spells plus some weird way to get 7 lands in your hand at the same time.

a spectacularly, amazingly, HORRIBLE card. for you to flip it you must nearly always be overly mana screwed, and its effect isnt too great AND will lead to mana burn like never seen. any use more than selling, trading away and use as toilet paper is giving it too much credit.
