Silver Knight

this does in fact survive Pyroclasm, as well as any other red damage. Protection from red means that Silver Knight can't be targeted by a red source, can't be blocked by a red creature, and all damage that would be dealt to it from red sources is prevented (unless something else says that the damage can't be prevented).

In short, Silver Knight is awesome. You may want to use Kor Firewalker instead, but first strike means that Silver Knight is still usable against other colors.

Better than the white knight, as this guy will survive pyroclasm.

sorry to disappoint you, but it does not survive to pyroclasm. Read rulebook man ;) However it's a solid card.

This card is awsome by itself aganst a red deck but just to be prepared always have a horned helmet and orclane bracers with an energy chamber.
