Boartusk Liege

For a T2 that has aggro filled with r/g hybrids that are already mean (Tattermunge Maniac, Boggart Ram-Gang, etc.) this guy is insane! He's like a doubled Gaea's anthem for just 4! Plus, unlike Gaea's Anthem, which can be answered by simply getting rid of their creatures, h's a creature himself, so he's useful on his own!

He's one of the more useful and solid liege's because he actually fits the theme of his deck, i.e. he contributes to an even more brutal focus on beatdown. On top of this, he's also got 4 toughness, so he's at least out of the range of some removal spells, unlike the rest of the lieges. Great card!

Great card, and pretty hard to kill with its four points of toughness. Great in red/green aggro, but not my fav of the Lieges... even though it has trample, it just doesn't beat the green/white 4/4 Liege... if you would discard it, you just put it into play instead!
