If it's your only creature, it's a Cruel Edict. If you have a crappy creature and your opponent only has big ones, it's very nice. Combine with Gravepact for awesome results! Last, in a reanimation deck it's very fine. Unfortunately the creature has to be on the field, so you can't reanimate some fatty you're just reanimating and not planning to hardcast. But still, with a come-into-play ability creature and a Mannequin/Beacon of Unrest it's wonderful (for example, Shriekmaw or Mulldrifter, or Bilsterbeetle...works...)
