You guys have no idea how this would rape.

Rafiq + Jhessain Infiltrator + Finest Hour = exactly 20 damage in a single turn. Win on turn 5 if you're lucky.

Very solid card. Given the obscene amount of mana fixing in the alara block, getting this guy out is no big deal. Absolutely overpowering when combined with shorecrasher mimic and finest hour. Imagine if you will playing a land first turn followed by a Noble Hierarch. Second turn you drop a land followed by a shorecrasher mimic and another Noble Hierarch. Third turn you drop a third land, then Rafiq, pumping your shorecrasher mimic to a 8/6 with trample and DOUBLE SRIKE on turn 3. Fourth turn you plop down a land and finest hour, giving you a 9/7 with trample and double strike that can attack twice. Thats 52 trample damage by turn 4. Hooray Rafiq.

even cheaper(for you're wallet) and in color would be hierarch shorecrasher mimic and turn three rafiq for 14 TRAMPLE damage.

plain broken: turn 1 noble hierarch, turn 2 doran, turn 3 this (you can pull it of with an ancient ziggurat or 2) and swing for 14! a battlegrace angel after that will give you 16 life a turn and probably the game.

Good for any deck, but if you have a Bant shard deck it's a must. Highly recommended for anyone thinking of using the Exalted ability in any deck.

One of the best card in shards. Sure it have planewalker but that card it very strong. Alone u have a 4/4 double strike.Put something else with it and u will kick butt :):):)

4 stars. Why? It is a 3 color card; it is legendary meaning only one in play at a time; and finally it is lightning boltable. I don't usually see these on the board for more than a turn or 2 before they get killed or removed from the game. It's not broken because it is so easily taken care of by so many of the numerous legal creature kill cards.
