This card has saved me alot of heartache considering how long it's been in print. Better than the ol' standered Deflection, it has no limitations and is cheaper. There are alot of playable uncommons from shards, but I beleive this one's math is top-notch (especially considering the mana-costs of other deflection-like cards).

this is pretty hilarious. it turns lava axes around. i'm not sure if it works with cruel ultimatum, since it says "target opponent" on the ultimatum. but the mana cost is great, and redirecting stuff is a loot of fun (such as with any burn spells or removal spells, or in a counterwar you can make one of your opponent's spells counter another of their counterspells...two for one! woot!)
