Burgeoning

EDH! Multiplayer! 2-Headed Giant! 1v1 I run Exploration over this, but it''s still great. Got my playset from the $.10 bin at a local card shop years ago, among other gems like: Winter Orb, Hymn to Tourach, Dark Ritual, (1)Lion''s Eye Diamond, Cursed Scroll, Elvish Spirit Guide--to name a few.

I agree. I use it with Thawing Glaciers and Sylvan Library. If I dont like what I see with the library I use Glaciers to shuffle and get another land. Then I put it back out on their turn and do it again. Not sure which I like better though, this card or Exploration. In big games Burgeoning owns especially since people often forget you have it out. The only thing is if you dont get it out its garbage, Exporation isn't. Both Burgeoning and Exploration are also great with one of my favorite cards Yavimaya Elder.

great card i use it for a land deck basicaly its just man lands enchantments and artifacts i tried mana bond but this works alot better mainly because playing the man land that comes in tapped on there turn helps alot when you dont have amulet of vigor out but for my deck fastbond is the best but alas its restricted to 1 so this card fills that gap very well

play with this in an all-land 1.5("legacy") deck. love being able to play it first turn. also, gives me several options such as; how fast i want to play my hand out, whether to play mana producing lands first or "nuisance" cards like 'maze of ith,' 'ice floe,' or 'the tabernacle at pendrell vale.' also nice in that i can play my "come into play tapped" lands like 'treetop village' on my opponents turn. lastly, allows me to turn the heat up in conjunction with 'cursed scroll' if the situation calls for that. as a little side note, being able to play this first turn in 1.5 is really, REALLY nice when you're playing counter(or blue) decks. in conclusion, a nice little niche card that i would recommend enthusiastically if it fits your deck.............
