This card is really good when put to the right use. In my green/blue beast deck I use lots of rush of knowledge to get through my library until I have only a few cards left, then I use it to keep recycling my important end game cards. With protection from black it is immune to most everything black decks can throw at you. Use Krosan Warchief to regenerate it, and you can usually keep it in play to avoid decking.

The fact that it is a three three and has protection from black is sweet, but it is far easier to take cards from your graveyard into your hand than cards on the bottom of your deck.
