My very first rare from my very first (self-bought) booster pack. I use him in my B/W/G False Cure deck with the tainted lands. Animate Dead or Living Death to get him and/or others out. Regenerate as needed. Cast False Cure and Flicker/Ghostway. Main kill is still Kavu Predator since it's a 2CMC drop.

This card is great, because you can kill your opponent with one card that is neatly impossible to destroy.

This card kicks major ass, end of story.Getting 2 of them into play is already more than half of your opponents life gone. Plus it's still a HUGE 6/3 thats hard to kill because its black and has regenerate. Unless your opponent is playing those great creature kills like chainers edict or terminate or some kind of mass kill like wrath of god the champion can't die. PLus it can still deal 6 damage per turn by attacking if it can get your opponents defense, and that isn't hard if your playing black, and of course if you have this card you'll be playing black, unless your one of does weirdos who like to do weird things like playing creatures that are not ur deacks color with elfish piper or something.

Once again black has shown me why it's so powerful. I could almost use four in every deck.

I have an organ grinder deck and the whole point of it is to kill your opponent without the need to attack. With four of these bad boys in there mixed with a twilights call all i can say is nice knowing ya.

But if you can manage to bring 4 into play at once with Twilights Call then that's game. It is possible to have this feat accomplished by turn three.

thi is probably the best card in type 2 right now because it basically has unpreventable haste, and it can take out most creatures without dying itself.

All i can say is, one kickass solid black creature, better than haste, and regenerate, need i say more? Excelent for all black decks, might even make it to extended eventually

Beautiful. Thats all I can say about this. Reletivaly cheap with an awsome come into play ability. Perfect for a reanimation type deck. Just Beautiful.

Couldnt you even use that spell that when an opponent gains life they lose that much life instead and use like idk a carrion feeder to sac him?

Great in type 2, I'm not sure bout type 1. Lots of cards could make him gone for good. E.g. swords to plowshares, incinerates, disintegrates, diabolic edicts, the abyss.

This is in my top ten cards. It's a great card with a lot of power to back itself up.

Excellent card, but I am unsure how it would be useful in a reanimater deck. Reanimater decks make best use of huge creatures and creatures with comes-into-play abilities. The Champion here does have a comes-into-play ability, but it has a 'leaves-play' ability that directly counteracts this. Unless you are just trying to toy with your opponent there is little point in going
