Whoops, totally forgot about Leyline of the Void. Lifeline get 5Stars in conjuction with Leyline of the Void because it then takes away the double-edged effect!

God I wish they had more of these in stock. You haven't lived till you've played a group game with Pandemonium, Ball lightening, and Lifeline! Every person's turn the thing pops out and back doing 6 damage! On your turn alone BL comes into play, does 6, tramples over for 2-6 more, then goes away at the end of turn but comes back for 6 more!!

Awesome card, Just take any echo card with a comes into play, or leaves play ability, like avalanche riders or goblin marshall, and you get their abilities every turn for free.

who cares about casting cost, with lawerner elves and other cards like that its considered cheap to me, i use this wiht spore frog, never have to worry about combat damage, i use it with green and white and sterling grove to pertect it, the i throw in grind stones and millstones to deck them out faster. It works realy nice, if you use this deck idea make sure u throw in orims chant for incase of counters and things like pay no heed for burn decks

Double-edged sword, but this card still owns. I've only lost twice as the result of my own Lifeline keeping my opponents creatures constantly coming back to life to chump block and re-trigger "Enters the Battlefield/Leaves the Battlefield" effects; because I still had creatures on the field at the end of each turn. It's fairly rare that an opponent can out-swing a Fallen Angel, or mana excel past Blood Pet + Basal Thrull in my suicide build, especially now with Mortician Beetle getting +1/+1 counter for each creature sacrificed.

Dang this looks overpowered- the uses for something like this are borderline infinite.

casting cost is a little high, but if you put this baby with DERANGED HERMIT, then man, you are in business.
