Still Relevant
While this card lacks the shutdown power of Chant and Silence, the bonus card draw is significant. I run all three in my Vintage main deck, as each can be attached to Isochron Scepter.

this works the same way as Silence, and won't act as a retro-active counterspell if that is what you mean. Still I think it is a very useful card though.

play with three of these mainboarded in a type 1.5("legacy") monowhite deck. the cantrip is nice too. probably a two or three star card against some decks, but really nice when you're playing counter or discard decks. in conclusion, a very nice card albeit a more subtle one today in the expanded metagame...............

This card was once good, but no longer has a place in competitive decks. The errata killed it. Oh well. We have Silence and Orim's Chant now.
