Great card for a fast green deck. If you get a good draw you can have 2 creatures on the 1st turn(use the forest to cast a creature and discard elvish spirit guide to cast this 3/3 and sac your forest. It wont slow down your deck because every card shouldn't cast more than 2 mana.

A tough card to assess. I used to play Rogue Elephant / Harvest Wurm which didn't work as well as I hoped it would.
There are just too many effects, bounce, boomerang, that cripple Rogue elephant. The cost of one forest can really slow your entire deck down.
Savannah Lions, 2/1 for 1 White is much better.
