so many uses whether it is vampires or as I like to use it in my dredge deck or simple a mono deck beat down one of the best black cards I have seen in a long time love it want 4 more!

This + Grave Pact, Carrion Feeder, Mortician Beetle, Cabal Therapy... etc. Gives meaning to my "Sacrifice Me!" Deck. Don't forget Gate to Phyrexia; being almost the only hate in B vs. artifacts.

aggro black here we go! I am actually adding this to my tourney legacy deck with my dark confidants and thoughtseizes :-D. This card is fast.... and will pretty much be a problem for the opponent the whole game if your deck is set up right.

Can be used in conjunction with many other nice black spells; take Quest of the Gravelord, for instance. And even if Bloodghast is not very strong in itself, there are many ways to improve it - Vampire Nocturnus, Corrosive Mentor and even Death Pit Offering being just some of them.

Eh. would be nice if it could block. But that would be broken. I guess its okay if you can get a bunch in ur graveyard and landfall them back when your opponent has ten or less life.

The ability to landfall it back into play is pretty cool, no argument, but it doesn't change the fact that once in play, it is still nothing more than a 2/1 that you can't even use to block. For me personally, it's just not worth it.
