this card would really rock if you had a sorin markov in play. just take over your opponent's second turn and get three or more turns in a row!!!

One of the ways I can see this being helpful is giving up a turn early on and then activating the final after you drop something like a sleep or another similar spell to give you a clear shot at you opponent late in the game.

It's not 'remove any number of eon counters, take that many extra turns', it's 'remove one eon counter.' Proliferate wouldn't do anything.

Remember when Dark Depths was like a three dollar rare? Yeah this is going to jump like the DD did, only on a lesser scale. Look at all the cards with proliferate in the new set, the clasp + this = two card infinite turn combo IN STANDARD! I wish I still had a credit card, 'cause I'd be buying these up now while they're cheap!
Buy these now and you can thank me later :P

Ideally you would get this out early, skip an early inconsequential turn and bank the free turn for later in the game for a killing blow. This is BETTER than a time vault because you can get the benefit of mana from the land if you aren't using it to take a free turn. Also works well in landfall decks...

Tough nut to crack, but I managed to make a convoluted infinite turn combo with this without skipping any of your turns. *Rings of Brighthearth* is the main portion; I won''t divulge the rest

Proliferate will add a counter to a permanent that already has a counter - So you WILL have to give an extra turn to your opponent.. You can put as many counters you'll want on Magosi.. You still have to return it to your hand when you use its ability - Thus, you have to do it all over again...

Proliferate will allow you to add eon counters without giving up your next turn....duh

Such a niche card. As I see it there's one good use for this bad boy in standard: Control mirror matches. You're sitting there, six mana on the board, the guy across from you is in the same boat. Everybody has a full hand--you both want that sphinx to get tapped for so you can apply your counter of choice.
Draw. Go. Draw. Go. Draw. Go.

Why not skip your turn at the end of one of those? You could build up a turn or two, and be able to draw counters out with various threats so you can get that win condition on the board.

Still, least usable of it's cycle of lands as far as Zendikar is concerned.

Magosi, the Waterveill is not such a great card. When I first saw it, I overlooked the "Return Magosi to its owner's hand" part, and mistook it for an awesome card. Without the "return to owner's hand" clause, this card would've been a great combo alongside Gilder Bairn, scoring you infinite turns on the spot. Some people might argue that Magosi is capable of winning you the game if you use it at the right time - but there isn't many "right times" for giving an opponent an extra turn, unless you've got a Mindslaver on the battlefield.
