Ob Nixilis, the Fallen

This guy almost screams "Combo Landfall" along side Lotus Cobra. Turn 1 or 2 Lotus, etc. Hope they don't kill it in the mean time. By turn 3 or 4 hard cast Ob; or sooner if it's B/G Landfall w/ Dark Ritual. And funny as is it to say: New Frontiers would be the kill once Ob is already in play, lol. I have considered Amulets of Vigor but it's difficult... Either it super mana ramps me w/ CIPT(Comes into play tapped.) Lands, or I fall 1 or 2 land drops behind if I don't draw them, granted if I have Lotus Cobra it balances out, but even so Lotus Cobra is ALWAYS a top target.

Must say though, I'm very happy this card dropped down soo much in price. Now I'll actually buy and finish my playset :)

Two of him, 4 rampaging baloths in a deck, and all the land ramp i could muster, i was able to deal 72 dmg just with him. Then gave him +1/+1 and trample =)

Ridiculous in a warpworld deck even in a black green mana excel deck hes crazy this guy seems more like hes not cobra.

This card has saved me many a game, I break out early and rock!!!! This sight is the best but I also use EBay to get cards from Diekast!!! He has a lot also

Obviously, you can have tons of fun with this, but what I really want to comment on is the awesome prices that Trollandtoad consistently has. It seems that the harder to find rares are almost always at least a few bucks cheaper on this site than any other. Thanks guys!

He definitely has great potential early on in the game. Getting out a couple dark rituals early on and putting him out can get him nice and buff fast as you play more land cards, while draining the hell out of your opponents life very quickly. However, a simple unsummon or bommerang ect. can send this plot reeling.

I'm contemplating buying this for a discard and bounce deck. Keep him out as a nice fat wall with my levitation spell will be handy. Any thoughts?
