I rate this card with 10 stars! The best of all 5 Legendary Dragon synchro-monsters as well as one of the best Synchros ever released until today, along with the killer Tempest Magician. Also a card suitable for any deck due to its field clearing effect as well as a cornerstone for any competitive Plant themed deck. All hail to mighty Akiza Izinski and her powerful Black Rose Dragon.

With the ability to nuke the entire field on any given turn, Black Rose Dragon has an archaic power never before seen in the TCG. I am doubtless that this card will rise in popularity as more and more duelists realize its huge potential, and decide to slip a copy of this insane beast into their extra decks. I highly recommend this card; Black Rose Dragon deserves a slot in all extra decks.

Well since BRD is up to 3 and your now ruuning at least 2 then your wanting your time BRD is the fastest form of field crowd control on the field its the best escape out of a tight bind. Granted its only second best to Stardust Dragon because he can just negate it IF you use its effect but with the help of a plant monster in your graveyard you can out do any monster monster incluiding Stardust Dragon by reducing they're ATK to 0 with its 2nd effect! The only issue will be Colossal Fighter but blasting him with the 1st effect would be wiser. So it's extremely flexible assuming you have the plant type to out do the SD no good against SDAM though. Plus blasting itself off the field means you can use my body as a shield and just negate it easy or stalight road in that matter I would say 4 stars baby go Black Rose your up there!
