diamond dude is an amazing card! Decks these days search their decks a lot with cards like: Reinforcement of the army, Goblin Zombie, sangan or anything that lets you look at you deck. So his effect where you don't pick up a normal spell...doesn't hurt as much when you put it on the bottom of your deck.
He also opens up game winning combos seeing as your opponent can NOT negate the activation of the spell that diamond dude hit with his effect. Plus for cards like Pot of avarice and destiny draw...its a free +2 draw for you. AMAZING!
