Yamata came through when I needed extra cards in hand and honestly, this was one of the few cards I used where if I didn't have it decked, I probably wouldn't have gotten as far as I did.

Amazing to combo with Darkness Metal Dragon and Totem. Each turn just special summon Totem Dragon (with Darkness Dragon's effect, not it's own) then trib for this guy. Use Darkness Metal and others to take out defensive monsters and then hit opponent for 2600 and a hand refill. End your turn with 6 cards in hand.

Yamata has great playability if you use totem to sac for it. great way to keep hand advantage and a great way to sync with delta flyer for Trident Dragion. combo this card with burst breath to get rid of colossal.

I think this is a good card, because you can keep refilling you hand, and while Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure + DD Survivor/ DD Scout Plane is on the field, you can keep tributing them for it. Although it can be a dead draw if you don't have Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure on the field... =/
