This card is SOO awesome but also so expensive. It's effect is gamebreaking and can turn the tide of the game if your opponent doesn't have an answer.

Goyo Guardian has the highest ATK points of all 6 stars synchros and it can overpower most of the 7 to 9 star synchros.

i hav my own synchro warrioir deck which can get a six star or an 8 star first turn and goyo with torapart(which gives a warrioir synchro monster the ability to be protected from traps when he attacks) and goyo protected from mirror force dimensional prison sakuretsu or anything. its great

This is a totally super ownage synchro. any synchro deck without this card will lose to this card. its effect makes it useful for getting cards you want for synchro summoning. this card also works fantastic with stardust on the field so you dont have to worry as much attacking with goyo. no wonder it got limited.

Don't listen to Josh Parsons, he obviously over read the part of the card where it says "you CAN summon the monster to your side of the field in defensive position." The effect is completely optional.

Anyway, this card is absolutely amazing, and i recommend it to anyone who uses synchros (which is everyone nowadays). This card is especially useful in a deck that revolves around warrior monsters and increases the attack of warrior monsters in a pinch. I love this card......

An amazing Synchro monster. Looks cool and works wonders in a duel. Use your enemy monsters as fodder or ammo, and can be so easily synchro summoned by a level 2 tuner and a level 4 monster or level 3 tuner and level 3 monster.
I love whipping out Comrade Swordsman of Landstar with Marauding Captain to get this guy out the first turn.

Goyo Guardian is a beast.

This card is the only synchro who's power matches that of stardust.

RIP Goyo. You're superior attack and lifepoint rapingly good effect will be missed.

Who am I kidding, it's about time this card was banned. It's a great card, but it's effect was just too good.

Goyo is the best level 6 monster in terms of ATK points. His effect also is great, and because he is a synchro, you know he's going to pop up at some point in the game.

Good atk, but his effect floods your own field, which is usually a bad thing.
