This is an awesome card, and I recommend it to anyone who needs a great Synchro monster to lead them to victory!!! Especially using it with Egotistical Ape from the new Duelist Revolution works great.

I'd say this would be much more useful in the shows where they had an infinite field spell where u can infilict 800 for each spell card in your hand where u can use it almost every 3-4turns

Meh, it's an interesting synchro. Oddly enough, it's not "Blackwing" so you can't tune with Zephyr for it. While there are several other 8* synchros you would want to make 1st (mainly Stardust, Colossal & Thought Ruler) he's amazingly anti-burn. If anything, he's a side deck for your extra deck.

For starters it is not that great of a card for two reasons. One the fact that it is called "black-winged dragon" makes it non compatible with vayu, making silverwind a lot more useful. The other reason is his effect. The only way that a lot of people would play this card is if dark strike comes off the ban list. All in all it's a nice beatstick but it doesn't really have much use right now.
