This card is amazing combined in the new spell caster deck. This card is easily summoned by citadel of Endymion & can even be played by use of by a trade-in to level modulation combo since he's LV 8. I won't be surprised if spellcasters start getting a lot better

LV4 allows you to summon him from your hand or deck so its not just a dead card. you can add spell counters to lv4 with cards like spell power grasp or pitch black power stone. to maximize your summoning potential of this card its best to run it in a spell counter endymion deck. a powerful spellcaster, but not as good as dmoc. . . which should be unbanned...

Most powerful spellcaster and LV monster in the game. Also it has a very nice effect Nice addition to any spellcaster deck.

stop arguing back and forth its stupid and to the one who said only an idiot woudl say that...ill have you know i beat lightsworn decks all the time in tournaments mainly because of this card. i run a powerful dark amgician deck and added this guy. Besides you dont lose anything in it play LV 4 with swords (i run an old skool deck lolz) and you got 2500 atk and than you wait two more turns and you have 3500 atk and than get LV8 and ur atk is still 3500. not eveyrone uses bottomless. besides, if yoru worried about bottomless or compulsary than it shows how much you suck at deck making, ALWAYS BE PREPARED! i won reigonals through that because my opponent decked out because i kept fending him off with everything i had.

Look at this guy. 3500 attack for a 8-star monster, let alone a Spellcaster? Cool enough for me. Also, with Silent Magician LV4, it includes when they use Destiny Draw, Allure of Darkness, and other cards that make you draw. Not just Draw Phases. This guy's second effect is purty cool, too.

you have to keep your silent magician until your opponent has drawn 5 cards to get this guy on the field so that he will get bottomlessed or compulsoried and you can't get him in any other way? i say forget about this guy, if attack is what you're after then you should know that silent magician lv 4 himself will have 3500 atk when it has 5 spell counters so my advice is to forget about this monster and just put in lv 4, besides he's a dead card in the hand anyway since he can't be normal summoned and lv 4's effect can summon him from the deck...

that's how i feel about this card anyway...
