Tokens? In type 2 you can say that, but in the Legacy this card is so powerful. I remind you that you will be dead before you can have a lot of tokens and use them.... Any Edict used to slain one big creature!!

This card is powerful since the opponent just have one big creature in play. Any abilities like shroud, protection, and indistructible are vanished.

MMM... How about Isochron Scepter?? I have played this to the delight of my friends and the utter disgust of my enemies. Untargetable? Guess again! I have used it against protection, can't be the target of, and etc. I know... I know, it is limited in what it can do but the upside is sooo nice that it is a must have for any magic player's collection.

If you don't have (edit) a heart attack (end edit) when you see this card, you should go back to playing pokemon, because you don't deserve to play this game.

Chainer's edict is very good,too.

Much Like Chainer's Edict (Torment) but with a twist that makes a little more mana efficient when it's your turn. The fact that it's an instant unlike Chainer's Edict which is a sorcery makes it easier for you to use.

Lets put it this way your opponent gets a first turn reanimate and discard a huge creature now your screwed. your first turn you only have one mana. Bet you wish you had innocent blood bout now?

great card.
most people choose it over the honored chainers edict, because instant speed is a very good matter. too, chainers edict cant fear the big scary verdant force, this precious edict however can do so. since verdant force is the best fatty ever and thus is often played in reanimation, this is worth a thought.
still, no 5 points because it is useless when opponents plays no critters and aint broken either or wont win u the game

great card but 10 times better than terror??? how?
you get to choose who to destroy with terror but this lets your opponents choose

an excellent sideboard card, for me anyways, in my 1.5 mono-black deck. a proud supporter of this card all the way back to its 'tempest' block days. and even prouder that it still finds a place in the metagame today seeing as i still play it. nice foil, although i would have wished WOTC, given the chance, would have come back with different art or even the flavor text at the bottom. art o.k., text ....ugghh. better than 'chainer's edict' because its an instance, in this correspondence opinion. but, until they come up with something better , quite serviceable.....

with how many token decks there are now- its unlikely youre going to remove anything worthwhile. 'why would your opponent sac akroma? when they also have a 1/1 soldier out?' they wouldnt...
