Shivan Raptor is an amazing creature to use! It's a relatively low mana cost, has first strike, three attack points, and is unaffected by summoning sickness! It's echo cost is a bit of a burden, but if you're playing a draw-two, play-two Magic the Gathering game, it won't make much difference. I've used my three Shivan Raptors in many battles and they've saved me quite a few times. I just wish that the card said "Summon Beast" or "Summon Bird" instead of "Summon Lizard," because raptors share many similarities with birds and dragons but none with lizards. Shivan Raptor is a great card to add to any Magic the Gathering red mana deck, or even a red-blue or other dual color deck.
