If used in a vampire deck this card can be devistating. I have a legacy vampire deck built around the blood tyrant from the alara series that would just not be the same without Anowon. if you are playing a nonvampire deck and you give him the whispersilk cloak he is a board clearer. Well worth it to anyone who uses vampires. Also check the fifth dawn series for a vampire that turns all of your creatures into vampires if you wanted to use nonvampire creatures and still mess with people with Anowon. Its just another way to use him. He is BEAST.

This card is definatly has its place in certain decks. Although, oddly enough, Im not sure tribal is one of them. Should have had flying, or costed 1cc less or something. 5cc>=vampires are already both plentyful and powerful, beeing a legend he should have brought more edge than this to secure a place in such a deck.
