Won my local magic shop draft w/ 2 of these years ago. Held a place in my heart ever since~Great EDH body -- generally remains 6-7 P/T at all times for only 3cmc. Once a Commander of mine, now synergize with Nekusar as Commander instead.

Perfect for multiplayer games with 3+ players. On the third turn he can be massive. With more players its more likely that someone will get manascrewed or actually be playing a deck that draws alot of cards, thus making him an undisputed bad-boy in the early game.

Turn 1 play a Mass Hysteria, and then you can probably drop this guy turn 2 with a Desperate Ritual, how's about at least a 7/7 with haste coming at you? Although nothing else thats good about other wise that he can be a biggy doesn't make him very playable but still fun. Especially now that cards like Ancestral Vision are out, that if you give your opponent the upper hand, he also has a 10/10 coming at him. I highly recommend Browbeat with this guy, its a "picking poison" combo. Not just that but a Whispersilk Cloak-wearing Adamaro in casual is one huge beatstick

This card's BEST atribute is that an inexperienced player will dump their hand in an attempt to kill the "maro" only to have overextended and be weak to say Pyroclasm (9th) or Yamabushi’s Storm (ck).
