The foil process used for this set causes the cards to warp considerably. They are easily noticed in a deck and even in sleeves they stand out.

Uh, why would you play with these cards? They are collector items. Check out Wizards web sit to see some of the amazing artwork on these awesome dragons. Truly sweet and worth the price for any collector.

Beautiful new set. 1 card from Alara, the Mystic Rare Hellkite Overlord, is in there.
The cards are a bit warped but nothing a "Merriam Webbster" couldn't fix.

Foil process warped my cards also. Have them under several heavy boxes right now to try to straighten them out, otherwise they are unplayable.

You all will wish that you bought this boxed set 5 years from now. Stop complaining, buy it and be very happy you did when you see the price of these 5 years down the road. Trust me, this set will be highly sought after down the road. I bought two sets. I tucked one away for that special day down the road when it it will help me buy 2,3,or maybe even 4 of the new sets that will be out at that time.

This set is great, to get rid of the warpage, put your cards in toploaders for a week. That is what I did and my cards look great and straight.

Anybody that would actually play with these cards, is throwing money away. It is a collector's edition, and extremely limited for a reason people. Do NOT play with these cards, or at least make sure you keep ONE set sealed. This is money in the bank for those of you lucky enough to get your hands on one. you should just not spend money on anything to avoid throwing it away. save it in a bank and never spend money and die rich and lonely. that's what i'm gonna do. peace.

The problem with this set is that it is too cool to open and play. The cards are awesome

This set is amazing, not so much in regards to the cards, but in the presentation. Not all of us collect cards to stick in binders. Some of us do display certian cards and boxes, and it's nice to know wizards has not forgotten us. However, that does not take into account the value of rearranging what your opponent beleives you capable of. If you play with the Nicol Bolas from this set, your opponent then has to re-evaluate what he or she THINKS you have (insofar as what cards you have access to). I beleive that to be the true value of a promo of any kind. In that way this is well worth the money. I have given this set four stars because of two fairly serious problems; first, the foil proccess has warped the cards badly: second, the severe lack of tokens. (the token problom seems to be all over.) Overall, a fine set of cards that I do not regret buying.

Got my dragon set and was very pleased with the overall appearance of the cards. The new artwork and foiling process are amazing. Cards came a little warped, but thats and easy fix and overall well worth the money. It would be nice to see a set of rare lands comeout in the from the vault set. WOTC really has hit a home run with the from the vault set and can't wait to see the next one.
