She is amazing, has insane synergy with ajani goldmane and garruk... get her while shes at a good price because she is going to soar!

It says "All OTHER permanents..." so she stays on the board after using her ultimate.

Honestly, theres a lot of ways to use her. White token decks? Emeria Angels Khembas. Or splash green. Avengar of Zendikar + Emeria Angels + Primeval. Or go white Myr. So many more options you can opt to do with this or just add it to U/W control, wipe the field of any pesky creatures or other planeswalkers that may cost you the game on turn 2 after this is cast.

I actually pulled one at the prerelease. No help at all with the other cards I got. But I put it into my Rhys redeemed deck, I nuked and swung with 89/89 elves. The First commenter obviously doesn't know how to play tokens.

She's good. Her ultimate is actually a consideration in this card because you can get to it in one turn (vanishing 1 planar cleansing for 5? This is pretty good, people!), and who doesn't like 3 tokens? Some people are thinking she is bad because, unlike the Knight-Errant, probably, the best Walker, she isn't an auto-include in any deck that plays white. She just needs a little building around to really shine.

Try Orzhov tokens with spectral procession and bitter blossom.

Actually, Elspeth is really good. Gaining 1 life for every creature you control while she gets 2 loyalty counters is good for both you(the controller) and her because she gets not 1, but 2 loyalty counters. Use the 1st ability once and then you get to use the 3rd ability on your next turn after she entered the battlefield. Or bring her out and then proliferate once to use her ultimate right away(Not recommended)! The 3rd ability wipes the entire board clean of everything, but tokens and lands. If you have been using her 2nd ability to bring out 1/1 soldier tokens then you have an ability that is like Martial Coup that gives you board advantage. What is not to like about her except her costing 5 mana instead of 4?

Yeah. The thing about her is I think she is almost supposed to be added into a deck that already uses the other elspeth version. The first one makes all you stuff indestructible, then this one comes in and you destroy all your enemies things but all yours can't, so then you just pawn Bant token style.

A decent planeswalker but struggling in the current meta. Not near as good as her Knight twin. Life gain is a moot point with so many Creature heavy aggro and ramp decks dominating the current meta. Tokens are always pretty good...but they usually will become irrelevant when they stare down pyroclasms. Her third ability provides a board reset but that is really all it does. Most of the time the tokens don't survive long enough to benefit from her ultimate.
She may become the Sarkhan Vol of the current standard if the next few sets don't show her some love in some way.

The person who gave this card 5 star is nothing but a beginner player (a novice). You rate this card 5 star, then you rate Elspeth, Knight Errant 5 star, then it's clear that you don't understand the difference/effectiveness/strength of those cards. Elspeth Tirel will be 5 star if her mana cost is 4. Otherwise, she's just piece of junk. Combine with Ajani Goldmane? Or Martial Coup? All of that just "THEORY". Try to implementate what you say in the game, and you'll be stack for sure. I'd rather keep 4 Elspeth Knight Errant than Elspeth Tirel.... thanks.

This card is not good at all. I will rate her 5 star if : The first ability is Congregate (target player gains 2 Life for each creature in play) The second ability is Spectral Procession (put three 1/1 flying spirit or whatever creature tokens into play) and the third Armageddon (destroy all lands)..... This planeswalker is really piece of junk..!! The old Elspeth (Knight Errant) far better.....

I agree dude. I dare any mage to make this version of elspeth the staple mark of his/her deck and come to the battlefield against me. I'm no pro, but in my opinion Wizards, a weak planeswalker. A little over priced in my opinion as well. I'll pick up 4 Mox Opals from T&T though.

I stand by first review (other than dropping an additional star) of elspeth. I friggen hammered 2 mages who played this card against me last nite. Shame on Wizards for printing a crap walker like this and having the nerve to call her elspeth. Com/on wizards; after introducing Jace all you got is this version of an elspeth? I did buy a booster box from T&T only to hope to pull a Mox or some wurmcoils. If I do pull an elspeth she will be traded immediatly.
