*** I don't understand how or when you would use this card to it's potential. It doesn't make sense, what if they grave cards you want? And how many cards do they get to split into pile? Just curious, I'm kinda noob when it comes to magic all though I'm huge enthusiast. Just curious for some pointers. Just bought the Jace vs Chandra duel deck.

***** If this had cost any less it would have been completely broken. Honestly, you have to take into consideration that this card is an instant(!). Fact or Fiction is still a very good card. Netting you the card(s) you want at instant speed for 4 mana is really good, and it's also a fun way to mess with your opponents' mind. Great card overall, and the drawback can be turned into an advantage, 5/5

***** There's a reason why this card is restricted, was dominate in psychatog but can be run in any blue deck

***** FOF has to be one of the most fun cards in magic. If your opponent doesn't have any practice in separating the piles they can lose the game on the spot. Going 5 deep is no joke. And the best part... no matter how they separate the piles, you're going to get the card you want.

***** I run a T1 R,G,U deck. Blue just for card draw. FoF with Tarmogoyf is usually amazing.

**** The cost is a drawback, but it can play well with reanimate also

* Don't like it. Four to cast, some go to graveyard, card only goes to hand, opponent know those cards, get rid of your combo...

***** Definitely a championship card . . .

***** To heck with nether spirit! Played with Psychatog and Cunning Wish this card rocks!

***** One of the few cards that people will go to extremes to play. You're either on it's good side or it's bad side; I love it's good side.

***** Despite the fact that this is a very powerful card-drawing card, it does not come without a drawback. Too often, I keep hoping to draw the card I desperately need, only to find a Fact or Fiction, play it, and then have my opponent put it alone against four cards that are useless in the present situation. This is still one of the best card-drawers available, but it isn't quite as good as many people say it is.

***** The picture for this card is very appropiate. After you cast it, your opponent will bear an uncanny resemblence to Squee!

-- By Magus from USA on May 08, 2002

***** Fact or Fiction: one of the best, most used cards. This card is so powerful that is was banned or restricted(i forget which one) in T1. And in Judgement there will be a card that is Anti-FoF.

***** Once in a while a card comes along that you can almost recommend for every deck that can support its color.

**** This is an amazing card. You'll either get the cards you want, or great card advantage. Combo's very well with nether spirit and gaea's blessing.
