** In the Black Reanimator this card is recomended. But in the other decks, she's sucks.... the cost is big 6WWW and only 4/6 Flying. The combat abilities are too mediocre for the cost you paid. The ability to ressurection a creature each upkeep is great if she's still alive on the next turn.... the problem is she's dependent creature. I agree that Exhume, Reanimate, and blah blah blah can bring her in the first turn, but without that card...? Yes... that's right. So you better rate 5 for the ressurection spells rather than this card. The KEY is the ressurection spells (or Oath in the Vintage format) not her......

***** And she eats up Demigods!

***** The casting cost isn't terrible. Just run one of her. She's legendary anyway...a 4/6 flyer is excellent for attacking and blocking. I think she's amazing in a U/W control deck. Control decks make the game go long anyway and they don't miss land drops, for the most part. She can bring back an Akroma that got Cloudthresher'd or whatever, or bring back a burned-out Calciderm if you roll that way. And this is every *turn.* wow. she's also good as a one-of in a deck with shriekmaws. keep chump blocking with them and bringing them back.

***** very fun card, now all you need to do is get a few paradox haze's out and thats gg....for those who dont know it, they are enchantments that gives you extra upkeeps, toss 2 out and you get 3 creatures from your graveyard a turn :-D

***** I have to say, I look awesome in the 10th ed

***** turn one: lightning axe. turn two: dark ritual, then zombify or dread return. only prob is you need something to hit w/ the axe... or in the late game use any tutor to find what you need.

***** Reya=game over! First turn land, Llanowar Elf. Second turn land, Priest of Titania, Spore Frog. Third turn Pattern of rebirth on Spore Frog! BANG! Reya in third turn and Spore Frog in the graveyard! Each time someone attack you, sac your Spore Frog and bring it back the next turn. Combined with cards like Aura Shards, Worship and Sterling Grove you will be able to lock your opponent VERY quick!

**** Lovely. Bad casting cost, but that's a small obstacle truthfully. Main reason for giving her a 4 instead of a 5 . . . She's VERY easy to take down. Otherwise, the ability is incredible.

***** Simple solution, I have an angel deck, because I have alot of strong angels, an artifact, binds them together, belbe's portal..........simple-yet very good.

***** I play her in my reanimate deck. A big bonus if I can get her out on my second turn. turn 1, entomb, turn 2, exhume, turn 3 buried alive. Works really well, even if she is put into my graveyard, I can always reanimate her again. Just to give you an example, whenever she hits the board, people are yelling out in panicked tones.

**** Reya is wonderful--if you can get her into play. You definitely have to build around her cost, but if you can do it, the possibilities are endless.

***** Reya Dawbringer and recurring nightmare!Go ahead and play your little terror or terminate or whatever, cause she'll be back for an encore!Another good combo with her is cataclysm! If you dont know what recurring nightmare or cataclysm are go look em up.

***** for me, I'd like to discard it with Mageta, whipe out every creature on the board, then breathe of life reya. then each turn you get the creature of your choice back for nothing.

***** Best card like ever! Sure its mana cost is expensive but shes evil when shes in play. Oh and as for creature destruction spells resurection again anyone.

-- By Nick from Colorado on August 29, 2002

***** this is probably one of the BEST white cards ever. sure the casting cost is high but there are so many ways to work around that

-- By Anonymous from Ohio on August 19, 2002

***** 4 confessor, 4 wild mongrel,4 breath of life, 4 silver seraph,4 brawn, and your pal reya holds it all together, lol

-- By Anonymous from wisconsin on August 18, 2002

**** In a black deck, you can get her out first turn if you're lucky enough to get a Swamp, a Dark Ritual, an Entomb, and an Exhume in your first draw. If you can, and then manage to get Braids out by the third turn...that's pretty much GAAAAAME OVER. This combo isn't too terribly difficult to pull off if you're running 4 each of Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Dark Ritual, and Sol Ring, which every casual black deck should. She's pretty tough to get out in a white deck, though.

***** This card is great, the casting cost? thats no prob, first, burried alive, then, zombify or breath of life in the reya and there problem settled. reya in play paying only 3W...GREAT CARD!

*** Good card, brutal casting cost. You figure it out.

-- By Anonymous from CA on March 19, 2002

***** This is one of the best cards ever made. It works wonderfully with the black odyssey cards like Buried Alive by putting creatures into your graveyard and getting them into play with Reya.
