The reasons why i enjoy using ( and abusing ) this excellent card is:
Top card in any format for the sole reason that it fits in any deck. It regenerates, saving it from many threats making it an excellent blocker, and its one damage manuver kills birds of paradises', and can even take out irridescent angels if needed. It can also block (or simply kill off) shadowmage infiltrators, a perfect solution. It's regeneration will frustrate opponents, it can block blastoderms, and can survive a masticore huumper. Many decks, especially now can take advantage of flashback, madness, and threshold making its upkeep almost useful. Any deck can and should use this card. It dominated any format it that it's available in, and it simply is too strong. -- By from on August 11, 2002 |

Uhhh... that other guy was talking about some other card. The card is awesome, but for completely different reasons. I don't see any disadvantage to a card that can only block half the time when you look at what you get for 3 mana. a 3/6 for 3 mana that MAY not block?!?! Amazing! Not to be used in a real serious deck because of having to get three red to pay for the thing, but its well worth playing in a solid red fun deck. -- By D from CA on March 24, 2006 |
