X-Man #051 Wolverine and the X-Men Marvel Heroclix

This 287 point beat stick is a one man army, but not an auto-win figure. He starts out with some impressive stats - Hypersonic and Probability Control will help make sure he can hit and run, while Invincible is there to keep him from taking too much damage at once, but without Willpower, he's not going to be able to press the attack as often as he needs to, without taking pushing damage that undermines that pink defense power. TK Prodigy is an interesting attack - he can fling an opponent very far away and potentially deal penetrating damage in the process. Pushing someone 12 squares across the map can wreck a team - a brick like Colossus is going to struggle for a few rounds to even close the distance, so if used well the TK can offset Nate's lack of strength in numbers. Psionic shields could lead to some fun times - heal him back up to it with the XTA, or watch as an opponent can't follow through to hit him as he places Barrier markers on their turn.

For 100 points less, you get a similar, shallower packages that drops the goodness of HSS/PC and damage soaking pink power for a Psychic Blasting beast. Two targets give him plenty of options, and pushing to get the free action barrier isn't so bad an idea, especially if he has a healing battery standing next to him. Free knockback should help keep enemies away, allowing for an easy escape, or an unhindered Support roll. Dropping down the dial isn't necessarily a bad thing either, as his damage ramps up along with the rest of his combat values, ending strong on a 5 damage, 11 attack Pulse Wave that is backed by PC!
