this card was really popular when it came out and almost everybody who could get there hands on one gave it awhirl. now its not making nearly as much noise years later and that's too bad. i've gradually come to think of it as the white 'river boa' although you can't say that with complete assurance as it DOES have a black mana in its regeneration cost. nevertheless. also has alot of synergy with other white/black cards in this set as they seemed to have gotten a good amount of above average cards. in conclusion, recommend if you're playing these colors(and i wish more people would as it seems to have been neglected almost totally), nice creature for a nice mana cost, with nice art and an awesome foil. nice kitty........................

Spectral Lynx is one of only 2 white creatures in the history of Magic:the Gathering to have regenerate. However, this is really the only one that can because the other white creature all your opponent would have to pay is one mana and it would go to the graveyard. Spectral Lynx is a nice creature a 2/1 B regenerate and pro-green. Spectral Lynx is a nice creature in many ways. first its a good priced creature and it's worth the 2 mana. Also it is easy to cast. The regeneration ability is a nice bonus to this creature as well. However the fact that it can stop a Blastoderm and other green fatties is nice. Some downfalls to this creature are that it can't do much against trample and

As Masques will soon rotate out of T2, the Invasion block (Mostly Apocalypse in this case) seems to support the black/white combination, which could possibly be the strongest new archtype in the block. This card is easily one of the first picks in any white/black deck because of its low cost and high ability. Regeneration makes it a great blocker while pro-green is a a little added bonus. Along with other strong rares like Vindicate, this card could lead to new things.

This is a fair white weenie creature, and the abilities for the mana cost satisfy the rare spot of the lynx.

This is a great attempt for a white weenie crusher (it even has regeneration, haven't seen that for white since the clergy of the holy nimbus) and it's protection can stop some big green critters. However this isn't a must for a white weenie deck. This card isn't nearly as good as the white knight or even the river boa (being one of my all time favorites) and it isn't worth it to splash black into your deck to make this kitty regeneratable. This card is above average but not fantastic
