Flavor TextDon't try to outrun one of Dominia's Grizzlies; it'll catch you, knock you down, and eat you. Of course, you could run up a tree. In that case you'll get a nice view before it knocks the tree down and eats you.
DescriptionThe Beta set was designed by Richard Garfield and released in October of 1993.  This set consists of 302 cards, 75 common, 95 uncommon and 117 rares with 15 lands.  Beta cards have black borders.  The Beta card introduced a new corner layout that remains today.   Estimated print run was 7,800,000 cards.

Definitely THE card for mono green. This is simply fact. No card says "I'm running a mono-green fatties deck" like this classic creature. Thank you Wizards for printing a card this amazing.

or at wild mongrel, river boa, etc... Grees creatures are generally much better or their casting costs than those of other colors (except white).

I know that this seems a little high for a 2/2 no special, but lits look at afew other 2 mana creatures

first:goblin raider 2/2 for 2 mana, but can't block
second:Morgue Thrull 2/2 for 2 mana, but puts the top 3 cards into your graveyard
third:Rabid Rats 1/1 for 2 mana, it taps to give target blocking creature-1/-1
so I think that next time you look at a this card then come pair it to other cards for the same cost

well if you think that a 1G casting cost is so great, you should look into pouncing jaguar, or skyshroud ridgeback, or any number of comparable or better cards for only G
