My EDH general... Atleast in my play group. Rule of thumb for EDH generals' in my play group is it has be atleast 3 colors. But I persuaded the group to allow me a 2 color general because of his CMC and draw backs. Well, long story short I had to deconstruct my B/R EDH deck because it wouldn't lose when I ran it with No Rest for the Wicked, Songs of the Damned, Animate Deck etc, and other recuring genre(s)

This card is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!So good, and for the people that saw this as a bad card, you are just a nood. Sneak Attack, then activate it twice, one playing Worldgorger Dragon, then second play this guy, soooo goooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm running him right now in reanimator, second turn he's out. I sac a land a turn and my opponents basically can't play cards, it's working really well, great card.

If your worried about the permant disadvantage, the use psychotic fury. Then they lose half, the half again, you only lose half. And its up to 7 damage, 1/3 of their life too.

For those of you confused about the use of this card... It's essentially a gamble. If you get it into the red zone, you'll lose alot, but your opponent should lose his chance to beat you. You have to worry about instant effects taking it out after you've attacked but before it's hit or else you'll lose instead. With just a hit or two you'll clear the board of nearly everything but him, and then winning will be no problem. I would suggest using him with a superfast reanimation deck or one with plenty of hand disruption to ensure he sticks and doesn't get killed mid-swing. He's an excellent card for his purpose and deserves five stars for that.

You may look at its effect and think it is a bad card but think about it. You have a 7/6 that is a demon type so you won't have to scarifice it. You're opponet on the other hand wont be able to play any more creatures and thereroe can't prevent damage. you can win with this card and no others in 3 turn. this card is awsome

The ultimate double-edge sword since Worldslayer. This is a huge advantage and a massive let down. I would suggest using Conspiracy but unfortunately that would only give your opponent the advantage, because the you would have to sacrifice your lands, which you would need especially if using Rakdos. I'm too sure i would use it in constructed, but in limited this card can do some serious damage. I'm still deciding whether or not if i would most definitely us it in casual, but it seems like a very fun card to play.

This is one of the best cards i have seen on a long time. it takes away your oppents monster. but one of the bad parts is that it takes away from your own monster. but over all i have hade a good use with this card. i have won a lot of games using it.

Who says you even need to deal damage with this thing to still get a lot out of it? This along with Stalking Vengeance turns its drawback into an ability that at the very least deal a TON of damage to an opponent simply for attacking with this card. If it deals damage and forces your opponent to sacrifice half their permanents, then bonus.

This is definitely a combo creature. Thanks to Lorwyn, an all "Demon" deck is possible (and they're all Birds and Dragons and Cowards, too!). Changelings add a whole new dimension to this card. I use a casual R/B deck based on Rakdos, Changelings, and "self-sacrificing creatures" to lessen the damage dealt to myself why tearing the enemy apart. This card shouldn't be underestimated.

Rakdos is a big bag of hot steamy potential waiting to be exploited. Some of the better things to pair him with include Grave Pact, which causes even more of your foes stuff to die, and Stalking Vengence, which also costs a lot but turns the other guy to tofu. The cost (Both mana and creature) are a big setback, but he's still a good card.

He will see hardly any play in block matchs, but type 2 here he comes.

A 7/6 flying trample that clears the board when it attacks... I don't know if this will see much tournament play, but I bet this will win quite a few home games. You have to love it for the artwork and the sheer meanness of the card.

you could do a combo with this card and the zuberas from kamigawa. Also scorched russlka would be good too.

This could be nasty if used correctly...

It has to deal damage to the opponent in order for them to sacrifice stuff. God help you if they bounce it after you declare it as an attacker. I give this card 2 stars sheerly because of the card's flavor. It matches the guild master of demons. Otherwise, pretty bad card.

I don't understand how this card can be misconstrued as good. Unless you have a completely demon deck, this card will hurt you. Sure it does the same to your opponent but they may have less cards than you on the field.
