This card could be easily played with the card "Dragonspeaker Shaman". Mana though for this card is still high but can be easily played and very usefull.

Can't believe I'm getting first review on this terror.

This is a red monster controller if I ever saw one! It can tear through those irritating 1/1 or 2/2 monsters (sliver decks in first few turns are ravaged and pest/token decks lose all seriousness) without breaking a sweat. Flying monsters don't even have a chance 6 dmg is enough to fry almost all the legendary dragons as well as nearly every flyer I know of.

If the damage it deals isnt enough on the first try you dont even have to bother waiting to fire it's effects again since you don't have to tap for the abilities!

This is easily one of the best Dragons to use in EDH...err Commander. Great form of board removal~ Probably never use it anywhere else just because of it being 8CMC, though it would be feasible with Soulbright Flamekin and/or Dragonspeakerz'.

i m surprised you haven't seen the synergy with heartstone/soulbright flamekin/repurcussion. Well all of you guys are correct it burns weenies and flyers to the crisp but im saying its 8 to cast and it wouldn't be used in any other deck but a heartstone deck.

I like anti-nonflying. Since you pay extra for the Flying ability on a creature, I think anti-noflying should be more common than anti-flying, but at least here's one good one, and it flies itself. I was using Ashen Firebeast before, but this is much better. Let the Firebeast eat its elephant in peace, I won't be using it in my deck anymore.
