The lack of popularity of this card confuses me. It costs 1 colorless mana meaning it can go in any deck. This card is replacing my mana production mys as i can summon a myr moonvessel or other 1 mana artifact first turn and then this card the next and instead of only producing one specific mana i get any. Also this card is technically better than a gemhide sliver in a sliver deck (minus the fact it puts another sliver on the field or if you have the shroud sliver which would negate the effect of springleaf drum, or at least i think so) as this effect doesn't spill over onto opponents slivers if you're having a sliver face off or your opponent has a sliversmith. Either way it gives my Etherium sculptors or other buff creatures a new use.

This card is good in basically all decks that has a good amount of creatures but there is the obvious benefit in rainbow decks. Truly why buy a birds of paradise when you could make a tukatongue thallid a card with the same effect. And you get another 1/1 when you're opponent kills it instead of weeping over the loss of your "precious" birds of paradise so you still get its ability.

A truly great card for multi-colored decks, where land is rather hard to draw. Pretty much turns all of your creatures into Birds of Paradice. Definately ngood in the naya 5-color decks in conflux.

(-):  It costs {1}.Requires a creature to activate the ability. Takes up a slot for "potential" ramp vs. using a straight removal or creature it its place(+):Colorless to go into any deck that utilizes strong creature-base. Creature doesn''t need haste to tap for the mana.Good in Tribal/Creature decks and ramping and/or combo variants. Stand alone this is garbage. Personally I use this as a 1-of in a Affinity deck since mox opal is expensive... Great for casual.
